FPSPI Association 2018 – 2019 Membership

The FPSPI Association will connect associates with the FPS International Office and promote collaboration among individuals in FPS Affiliate Programs and those interested in the Creative Problem Solving process. Join this official group and receive information for all FPS Components from the International Office.

Upon subscription you will receive a welcome packet including the following:
Official guidelines and documents for all FPS components
Supplemental materials unique for each component, including tips and examples
Additional information on Creative Problem Solving, thinking tools, FAQ, and other items of interest will be provided to members throughout the year.

Global Issues Problem Solving – GIPS

Process Pointers – Provides instructions and tips for each step. Includes student work pages to practice each step.
RRR – Starting point for researching the season’s topics. Includes vocabulary, articles with summaries, primary themes and concepts as well as discussion questions.
Champs – See what a champion looks like, and how they are scored. Provides an excellent example for students to model their work after.


Community Problem Solving – CmPS

Scenario Performance -ScP

Scenario Handbook – Provides activities to help students determine a theme for their performance and then present it with authority.

Scenario Writing -SW

Scenario Handbook – Details the steps necessary for writing a winning scenario. It moves writers from the conception of the initial idea through incorporating research into their work, predicting future trends and adding their personal touch to any writing.
Champions – Read the winning scenarios and review their score sheets. Provides students with examples that show how to incorporate research into short stories. The wide range of approaches to a topic demonstrates how open-ended the International Scenario Writing Competition truly is.


Action Based Problem Solving – AbPS

Teacher’s Manual – Select the grade appropriate version for your classroom. Includes classroom activities to introduce the problem solving process to even the youngest learners in a non-threatening, non-competitive manner. Designed for use with a small group of students up to an entire classroom.
